Most of the orphans have never gone to school, some had never had a pair of shoes. They do not know the love of a parent and are so happy and joyful with being fed rice/beans and porridge for a total of 2 meals every day. They help to cook, clean and wash laundry. There are so many more children in severe need. Just walking on the dirt streets, children will come from everywhere and tug at your sleeve and beg you to take them to the orphanage just to be able to have 2 meals a day and shelter. Building this Orphange will provide them with food, healthcare, an opportunuty to learn to farm and grow their own agriculture, and education.
