Rose Thompson, the Founder of Big Vision International, birthed the idea in 2014 after going on a mission trip to Haiti and seeing many children in the street with no one to care for them. This broke her heart and moved her to use the money that she has saved to help open an orphanage by renting a house to shelter the children. She was driven to help orphans and vulnerable children in Bonneau, Haiti, but is now motivated to take Big Vision worldwide. Rose is dedicated to providing education to orphans and vulnerable children who would not otherwise have access to schooling. Rose was also born and raised in Bonneau, Haiti. Growing up in Haiti, Rose understands hardship. Now she is in a position where she can make a difference, so she wants to help children in need. Rose is a Nurse practitioner working in Florida. She has been supporting this orphanage with her salary.  Currently, there are 20+ boys and girls living there.  Her vision is to help vulnerable children globally.
